Every Body needs to calm down about Granderson. He is a great player and right now he would be my vote for AL MVP. I’m just stating a case for Jacoby Ellsbury. Jacoby has more hits, stolen bases, not to mention his defense, 1.000 field percentage(perfect), and a .313 batting average. All of these stats beat Granderson.

Also you can look at his supporting cast of players, Adrian Gonzalez,  Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz, Kevin Youkilis, and Carl Crawford. Compared to Granderson with, Teixeira, Rodriguez, and Cano. Ya ya i left out Jeter. Why? he is to old and not having his best season. It is much harder to shine with alot of talent around you, because the Red Sox have so many offensive weapons that can show you up, it gives Jacoby another “point” towards MVP.

We still have a month+ of baseball for each player to shine, it will be a great show.

Yup, lets cut to the chase, whoever does not win the American league will get the wild card, and BAM!, without disrespecting Texas, Cleveland, Detroit, or Anaheim, You have a clear cut match up for the chance to go to the World Series, it has been seven long years since the last time the Red Sox faced the Yankees in 2004, SEVEN YEARS! That epic comeback from down 0-3 shocked the world, its time for a series like that again, to establish baseball as the real American Pass Time. To once again have the best rivalry of all time have a showdown in the playoffs. With the Hot bats of both teams, The solid Pitching from the Yankees, The Red Hot bullpen from the Sox plus big game starters like Beckett and Lester and were in for a show. There are not many players left from those day (yankees: Posada, Jeter, Rivera, Rodriguez, Red Sox: Ortiz, Wakefield, Varitek and Youkilis) but the rivalry lives on forever.

I am ready.

Are You?
